Gulf Coast Spas are manufactured using cutting edge technology in the 5 acre purpose built factory. Each spa is fired in 90 areas at different temperatures within the one mould to ensure a superior quality shell with increased durability and zero weak points.

Gulf Coast's skilled engineers operate under a zero defect policy. Some of the key strategies they implement to bring you a premium product include:

• Bench testing of all third-party components such as motors, pumps, blowers, ozonators, heaters and spa packs
• 18 water test stations so spas can be filled and operated for a minimum of 45 minutes
• Robotic shell forming, manoeuvring, trimming and jet porting
• Six sigma parts (commonly defined as 3.4 defects per million opportunities)
• Interdepartmental policies and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 standards to ensure consistency at all levels of operation

Appliance-Grade Spa

Gulf Coast Spas are the world’s first “appliance-grade spa”.  They have a revolutionary GE Geloy shell which is twice as thick as the standard Lucite shell making them durable and capable of withstanding wear and tear.  The shells are age and weather resistant and unlike other spas on the market, scratches are easily polished out.

The Thermazone Insulation also helps them stand out amongst competitors.  This insulation helps to conserve energy by trapping the heat from the water, pipe work and pumps which is not possible with weaker spas which require full foam inners.

Are they expensive to run and maintain?

No:

• They recognise when they are not in use and ‘sleep’ to conserve energy
• In winter mode, they prevent freezing in the pipes
• They are factory programmed to do the minimum to retain temperature on standby
• Hassle free and easy clean

The Geko plug and play power depot is designed to be neat and accessible so that all components are as easily changed as plugging in a scart lead on a DVD player.
